Billy the Kidden RescueBesides an army of foster homes, we have a kittery for cats ready for adoption and we have a facility where we can house cats for a Myriad of reasons. Cats recovering from surgery, cats that are fresh of the streets, owner surrenders—-these are just a few of the reasons a cat might be in a cage in our facility. It’s not ideal to keep a cat in a cage, but sometimes it’s in their best interest. CRIJO cribs and studio living inserts could make the cats stay in a cage way more pleasant and safe, because we can sanitize these between cats. Thank you for helping us, help the cats!

Louisa County Animal ShelterThe Louisa County Animal Shelter operates under guidelines of the Commonwealth of Virginia providing humane sheltering, care, adoption, and redemption of stray and surrendered animals. We strive to eliminate pet overpopulation by encouraging spay/neuter of animals, increase the public awareness by educating our citizens on responsible pet ownership, and to prevent any form of animal cruelty.
