In April 2025, CRIJO returned to the HumaneWorld Animal Care Expo to once again help shape the event’s standout cattery experience. PetSmart Charities continued to lead the way as the primary sponsor, and CRIJO is once again proud to have collaborated with CDE Cages to create an engaging and functional space for adoptable cats.

Together, the design and layout highlighted the importance of environment in animal welfare—demonstrating how thoughtful housing and enrichment can transform a cat’s shelter experience.

As we celebrate CRIJO’s 20th anniversary, we’re especially grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful collaboration and share our passion for feline enrichment with the broader community.

2024: Elevating Feline Care at the HumaneWorld Expo

At the 2024 HumaneWorld Animal Care Expo, CRIJO was proud to play a key role in bringing the cattery space to life alongside PetSmart Charities, the lead sponsor of this inspiring exhibit. With thoughtfully designed enrichment equipment from CRIJO and high-quality housing by CDE Cages, the cattery offered attendees a firsthand look at how intentional design can elevate feline well-being in shelter settings.

Founded by Grant Smith and his father, George Smith (1929-2022), CRIJO has strived to remain an approachable business where customers receive personalized service with real people on the other end of the line with the knowledge to answer questions and discuss solutions for specific needs.
